Fashion at Winston
Miss Barker-Dodds organised her second and final Fashion Show, in which students were able to display their designs and garment making skills. The designers selected a friend to model their items and then chose some great music to help create the atmosphere. Tyrese was amazing as the compare, handling last minute changes with confidence and humour. It was terrific to see the work of the students in this setting. Thank you to Miss Barker-Dodds, the Technology Department and the Tech Team for such a great show and thank you to the staff who also acted as models for costumes around the world.
Reading at Winston
I found this group of students enjoying some quiet time, reading, in or current library.
Year 9 students were off timetable for a morning and were set the task of designing an innovative sports product and developing a marketing strategy. This activity was part of National Sports Week.
A Private View
The Art Department organised a private viewing of the GCSE art work. There was an excellent range of pieces reflecting the skill and flair of our students.
