Half Term at Winston

Well Done Year 11!

It was great to see so many Year 11 students taking advantage of the intervention sessions being run by our Maths and Science Departments.  Teachers have given up days of their holiday to support our students as they prepare for their final GCSE examinations.  Below are a selection of photographs of the students hard at work.
Thank you to all the staff involved for making these sessions possible.

Improving the Site

A great deal of work takes place during each holiday to ensure that the school site is safe and fit for purpose.  Below are a few examples of work being completed this half term.
Removing Asbestos in preparation for the replacement of the hot and cold water pipework.

Well done on your hard work in preparing for these certifications.

As well as this study opportunity being available for staff and year 9 students, The Winston Churchill School IT Academy is now offering members of the community the chance to study for Microsoft Office Specialist qualifications.  For more information please visit:
